Recently, my wife and I headed to San Diego for a conference. My wife has to go to the occasional conference to continue her education for her job. I get to go along and have a mini vacation. So while she's learning, I find a nice place to sit down and pull out some paper and a pen or pencil. This time it was a pencil, and the image you see results from my time sitting at a Panera Bread restaurant. Why Panera Bread? Several reasons:
- They have great goodies to snack on
- Free refills on your beverage (fountain drink)
- You can sit there for hours, and the wait staff doesn't look cross-eyed at you for taking up a table they needed to seat another customer
- The tables are pretty good sized, so you can spread out if you need to
